On March 26, 2024, the university hosted the second activity of the cultural week by organizing a seminar for the Advisor to the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Arif Roshdi. The activity was attended by the President, Prof. Nadhim S. Jakhsi, the Vice President for Administration and Financial Affairs, Dr. Muhammad H. Khamo, and several elite academics.

 

In his speech, Dr. Arif Roshdi addressed several important issues concerning Kurds and Kurdistan, along with the recent situations and challenges. He also stressed the importance of national support for the government to protect itself and the Kurdish nation from the surrounding dangers.
